  • General +

Dasher of Millbrook built by Palamos in 1989 and designed by Richard Woods.
Number 14 was one of the last to be built.
Intended as a fast blue water cruising yacht she has done well in racing and completed two round Britain and Ireland races.
She has a low coachroof profile reducing windage with a doghouse raised area where she can be controlled from in bad weather.
She also has a raised area extending the coachroof further aft than standard giving standing headroom in the aft cabins.
The lounge and dedicated navigational area have ample sitting headroom and there is full standing headroom in the doghouse and hulls.
The shallow draught and kick-up rudders enable access to shallow anchorages, whist substantial daggerboards maintain good sailing performance to windward.
Tiller cross-bar steering with telescopic extensions gives a very light positive response to the helm.
Dasher has been carefully maintained to a very high standard and regularly hauled out for the winter and covered, and anti-fouled and topsides polished.
