    30' self build catamaran.
    Finished 2005 and used continuously since.
    Ply, fibreglass, epoxy monocoque hull construction.
    Finished in white with 2 part epoxy paints.
  • Hulls/Decks etc +

    Epoxy/glass/ply composite construction.
    3 crossbeams attached with tensioned webbing nylon straps as plans.
    Foredeck trampoline.
    Central deckpod with cabin and cockpit.
    Cabin serves as navigating area with instruments and large chart table.
    All halyards and reefing lines brought into cockpit for single handed sailing.
    Continuous circular jackstay from cockpit to foredeck with 3 points attachment each side.
    Tops of all cabins coated with deckpaint.
    Safety netting aft of cockpit between hulls.

    Mainsail wing design with gaff and loose footed so very safe
    3 slab reefing points

    Jib with roller reefing.

    Standing rigging attached by lashings.

    Displays -2 digital, 1 analogue (wind), repeater showing SOG, COG, bearing to WP and distance to go.
    Navtex: McMurdo NAV6, also displays GPS position, SOG, cumulative log.
    Plotter: Standard horizon. Information fed to NMEA box.
    AIS: Transmitter/Receiver
    Radio: Simrad RD68 fixed DSC VHF radio. Receives GPS position from NMEA.
    Tillerpilot: Raymarine ST1000.
    Compass with light.
    Navigation lights: at deck level, tricolour masthead, anchor masthead.

    Boat lying North West England and has been sailed extensively in Irish Sea as far South as Menai Straits and along the southern Scottish coast. Isle of Man and Northern Ireland Belfast Lough to Rathlin Island.
    Fully explored the Clyde and Arran and 3 cruises further North as far as the North end of Skye twice and this summer out to North Uist.
    The boat has presently logged around 5000 miles.
